I use this for all of my drop cookies, and a larger version I use for filling cupcakes. They make very uniform cookies (people always ask me how I get all my cookies so round, and all the same size) and the larger one fills cupcake liners perfectly. As long as you don't let the dough or other filling dry before you wash it, it cleans very easily.

I have owned a cookie scoop for years now and just love it. It is so easy to use and if you rinse it good it does come clean in the dishwasher. The best little tool for doing lots of cookies.

I use this all the time. However, like all the previous reviews have said, it can be difficult to clean. Not only do I use this for baking but I've also used this when making meatballs or anything that isn't too large. This is available in more than one size.

I never though I would love this gadget, but I do! It makes Christmas baking a breeze. Every cookie that I use the scoop on is ALWAYS uniform. I never roll balls of dough anymore, I use the scoop and they come out as if I've done them by hand. Would recommend this to everyone.

I couldn't imagine making drop cookies without a scoop. Another advantage to a scoop is having uniform cookies. All your cookies will be the exact same size and will look very professional on your cookie tray.
I also use my scoop for making my Italian meatballs.

I use the cookie scooper for all my drop cookies.
I can get a cookie sheet in the oven quickly and prepare the next sheet. It saves a lot of time to always have the next one ready for the oven.
The only challenge is getting the scooper clean. I rinse the spoon well before putting it in the dishwasher.
