Comments about COOK-N-TOTE 5QT SLOW COOKR/INSULATD TOTE 5-qt. Cook & Tote Slow Cooker:
I've owned three of these over the last 10 years. I love being able to brown the meat and then pour in the rest, but the non-stick coating only lasts for about 10-15 uses. It starts to come off the bottom, despite washing by hand and only using non-stick safe utensils. I'm not sure if I'll buy another.

I have used this slow cooker twice and then the zipper broke on the carrying case. [...]as soon as the unit is plugged in, it gets hot. There is no "Off" position on this slow cooker.Unfortunately, this is a very expensive slow cooker and had I known how poorly it was made, I would not have purchased it.
